UPDATE: Last night MoDaCo hit a new milestone, with 20,000 registered members.

Well done Paul, and all the mods and members who have made this forum so great! I joined just before we hit 10,000, and this forum has been unbeatable in the help and advice members have given me, both with buying my E100, and in using it.

As long as the MS Smartphone doesn't fail and disappear, this forums just going to keep on growing and growing.

Well done!

We are having a countdown in Chat :)

Just hope Paul is around when it hits 20,000 :(

In advance, well done to Paul[MVP] and all the mod team for making this forum what it is, and all the members :D

Some guestimates...

Smartphones sold in Europe - 100000

Smartphones sold elsewhere - 40000

Modaco membership - 20000

Assuming that all members own a Smartphone (some won't, some will own more than one, should even out) - then 1 in 7 Smartphone users worldwide are MoDaCo members.

Surely that is some sort of record for forum-product type things? And trust me, I can be even more vague.

Something interesting I noticed about MoDaCo's growth :)

Very approximately, in the first 5 months, MoDaCo had 5000 subscriptions - "Average" = 1000 per month

In the next 6 months, MoDaCo had 15,000 subscriptions - "Average" = 2500 per month

Pretty good going 8)

Because of there being more handsets available in more territories?

Can you do a geographic breakdown of where new members are coming from?
