Guest mtaib Posted November 4, 2003 Report Posted November 4, 2003 dear all, i brought an i-mate smartphone few weeks back and installed some utilites like pdf reader.. pockettv.. etc.. through Activesync. i have successfully removed them after trail-run from activesync. but my smartphone doesnt show a free storage. still it is showing the old info as programs are installed and space is consumed. activesync shows all programs are removed successfully. i thot this may be bug in display, but actually ram must be free, then i tried to install some program .. but it is showing not enough space availabale... i am really stuck with my memory issue.. please help me.. regaards MIC
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted November 5, 2003 Report Posted November 5, 2003 Welcome to the site :) Are the apps actually still useable on the phone? The best way to remove programs it to go to ProgramsSettingsRemove Programs have a look there to see if the apps are still listed. If they are not explore the phone and see it the files are still there (they should not be) After uninstalling it's best to reboot the phone as some files will not be removed until you have done this. Finaly when installing appsgames it's best to install them to a storage card and not the phone.
