Guest seaflipper Posted November 5, 2003 Report Posted November 5, 2003 I think I have discovered a bug with PocketX Photo Contacts http://www.pocketx.net/smartphone/photocontacts.html The bug is this: it hangs my AT&T Wireless mMode (GPRS) connection. The only fix is to hard reboot the phone (by that I mean shutdown, remove battery for 30 seconds and restart). Then I can use my GPRS connection again UNTIL I make a phone call. Then, after that phone call if I try to use GPRS again, it never connects. The [G] indicator is there, it says it's connecting, but eventually times out and you have to do the hard reboot again. By process of elimination, I discovered that it was the Photo Contacts that was causing this. When ended the app with Task Manager, I could go into my GPRS without having to do a hard reboot. Has anyone else had this problem, can anyone else out there with an MPx200 duplicate it? I have the fully registered version of the software and not a trial version if that makes any difference.
Guest seaflipper Posted November 6, 2003 Report Posted November 6, 2003 Update. Contacted PocketX and they confirmed it's a bug. New version will fix this. Version 1.0b coming out next week.
