Guest Sp3ctre Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 Just seen on the orange site that they now have a "square deal" where you get 200 mins cross-net and 500 texts for £30!!!!! That's me all over!... problem is all the online shops dont seem to offer it. I want a MxP200 but orange dont have it in stock. Was looking @ onestopphoneshop but they dont have the square deal offer, only 2000 texts over 1st 6 months. Am I missing summit here?
Guest Jasonkruys Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 And I dont suppose that offer is available to their existing loyal customers is it? :x
Guest chucky.egg Posted November 7, 2003 Report Posted November 7, 2003 And I dont suppose that offer is available to their existing loyal customers is it? :x Yeah, that'll be the day! They really don't get it do they! I've stopped doing upgrades now, I replace my contract each year and get a better deal, plus it gives me the option to change networks if a nifty handset comes out on Voda (for instance). Personally I think stupid "business decisions" like this are what creates the problem with "churn" in the first place. If they improved deals for existing customers they wouldn't lose so many of us to competitors!
Guest bikespod Posted November 9, 2003 Report Posted November 9, 2003 They also seem all too keen to waste tons of revenue on posh mail outs, all shiny paper and fancy packaging. a simple letter that actually keeps us informed of changes that could suit us better and save us a bit of dosh would be good. Bit like the text bundles that took ages to come out and then to get many options within this feature.
Guest Firaas Posted November 10, 2003 Report Posted November 10, 2003 And I dont suppose that offer is available to their existing loyal customers is it? :x They were offering 200 free minutes on any Your Plan tariff if you upgraded, so 230 minutes anytime was £15/month for a year, which is pretty damn impressive...

"Kingdom Master" has got some pretty good tariffs. Kinda like the one "Sp3ctre" was saying... spacecowboy
Guest hecatae Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 Orange Square deal is only 500 texts a month for the first year. Still the most impressive package I have seen.
Guest Emad Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 On your plan 200 and above. I just ordered an MPx200 on your plan 400 for free with £100 cashback after 4 months - effectively £25 a month for 4 months of yourplan 400 and the 2000 text message offer. No way is any upgrade coming anywhere near that.

Guest Emad Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 That's what the 2000 free text messages are for  I only have 2-300 numbers, so not that many will get used up.. Plus I'm switching my old sim card to Virgin OVP and recording an appropriate voicemail message. Ta-da.
Guest spacecowboy6982 Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 Genius :!: Ok Im sold - just found out I had to wait till start of december for my E-200 anyway my local Orange Store say... spacecowboy
Guest Emad Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 Erm.. Why not get it from an online place like OSPS, scancom, mobileshop or even - god forbid - Orange.co.uk? If you buy direct from orange you can get the 6,000 free text messages square deal type dooda too. Fab.
Guest kyrkesmith Posted January 24, 2004 Report Posted January 24, 2004 Orange Square Deals are end at the end of this month, however, a customer services operative hinted that they might be extended. That would be good. Orange certainly have the best prices compared to all the other operators for as long as the Square Deal is available.
