Guest Gorskar Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 Over at Smartphonethoughts they've spotted a lovely new case to protect your e100/tanager. I believe this is a hard case, and allows you to use all the functions of your phone while keeping it protected at the same time. The cost? $ 49.90 to you sir. Visit Vajacases for more details.
Guest Brody Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 Hmm, site down atm, i'll try again later, i presume thats why the image isnt working either...
Guest Simon Desser Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 The link doesn't work 'cos the url is spelled wrong  "http://www.smarthpnethoughts.com/" It should be smartphonethoughts.com
Guest Brody Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 hehe, well spotted! Working now! :?
Guest Brody Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 Hmm, no hole for the camera on the e200 though :) Just a belt clip clasp.
Guest Gorskar Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 Ah whoops  If you spot a mistake like that feel free to go ahead and fix it!
Guest Vector Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 $50 for a case ? :| but it does look a bit special :)
Guest amo Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 I'd never pay $50 for a case! Im not one of these who wants everything for free when I buy a phone - in fact I expect to pay for it all but no case is worth $50 :)

The amount of times I've dropped my phone - I wish this had been brought out sooner :) SpaceCowboy
Guest amo Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 Nah can't say I ever drop my phone - not willing to spend money on a phone and then be careless enough to drop it, especially as its an SPV. My old N*kias I never cared about.
Guest annet Posted November 10, 2003 Report Posted November 10, 2003 I think $50 is too much for a case like that, although it looks nice enough. It doesn't protect the screen though, so you'd still get scratches on that.
Guest smittyofdhs Posted November 10, 2003 Report Posted November 10, 2003 if you owned a pocket PC then you know who these people are.... vajacases are the best case available. The leather is high grade, the clips are excellent and never come apart, and these specific cases are like the one made for the PPCPE in that they have a bit of padding in them to help absorb the impact. If I had a SPV I would buy one as the one I have for my PPCPE is awesome and has saved my device more then once. But now that I'm a Moto MPx200 owner, my chances of having a vaja like this is slim-to-none. To amo, nobody intends to drop their phone, it just happens. It gets knocked out of your hand, it drops from your pocket.... Having a case of this caliber is for those times. I'm sure even with the best intentions a phone can get dropped every once in a while.
Guest TheRock Posted November 10, 2003 Report Posted November 10, 2003 $50 is too much? Paid more for the Piel Frama case (£45 about $70?) but I think worth every penny. Its looks are the "dogs". Protection as well as looks. Only problem is - I want E200 upgrade next week and no camera opening - don't care about camera - especially with apparent colour cast. Anyway I think Eurotel update makes old phone sim free and will use PAYG O2 sim, and Orange sim with new phone. $50 is too much? Guest JoelRae Posted November 11, 2003 Report Posted November 11, 2003 Looks like it doesn't have a slot for the memory card, which is probably for the best!! If it stops you losing a couple of 128mb cards, it's paid for itself
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 I'm still using the original case, coming up to it's first birthday now as well
Guest HurricaneDave Posted November 14, 2003 Report Posted November 14, 2003 just like to say.. the original spv case ...ya know the 1 with the magnetic flap which i think is pretty dam cool..is probably the best quality case you'r gonna get for your spv..or at least thats what i thought untill i purchased a KRUSELLS leather case from ebay for my e100...this case IS the best case your ever gonna see you slide your phone in and zip up the case,,it fits 100% perfect and covers ALL of the phone apart from the power/vol up/down buttons/ it also comes with a very cool belt clip which you attach to your belt..(no surprises there) but the back of the case has a little round thing on the back that clips into the belt holder and alows the phone to rotate 180 degrees (so it wont stab your leg when you sit down)
Guest comebackdx Posted November 14, 2003 Report Posted November 14, 2003 The Krussells case is very good. It even can sit in the USB cradle.
