WHAT I NEED TO KNOW IS DOES THE AREA AROUND THE TOP OF THE JOY STICK

AND THE GREEN CALL BUTTON ILUMINATE LIKE THE REST OF THE KEY PAD!

ORANGE ARE GONNA REPLACE IT UNDER WARRANTY BUT IS THIS THE SAME WITH THE REST OF YOU OR IS IT A FAULT!!!???

did you know Orange have added a £15 excess to all warranty claims now?

why? because of the number of people having their phones replaced when theres nothing wrong with them, adding a £15 charge makes people think twice :)

The green call button doesnt light up well precisely because it is green!

The backlight is red, green filter is not going to let the light through.

Shouldn't take a physics degree to work that one out.

For the alternative the iMate and SAP have green backlights, which do not illuminate the red hang up button well instead.

iMate and SAP dont light up the green one well either :)

I think the plastic on the call and hangup buttons must be a bit thicker, they are also quite a distance from the led's

Orange told me that if any hardware problem arises with the phone, then I was to ring HTC on 01 29 566 32 09, Mon-Fri 9.00-17.00 for them to sort it out. Even though I bought the phone from an Orange store only two months ago, they were quite shirty about not wanting to help with any hardware related problem...is this correct or did I get someone at Orange Support on a bad day?
