Guest cyrilthefish Posted November 10, 2003 Report Posted November 10, 2003 I'm just wondering why no one has released higher-capacity batteries for the smartphones yet. Just because i realised that the 750mAh battery i had for my old Siemens SL45 is approximately half the physical volume of the SPV's 1000mAh battery, meaning it's highly likey that the SPV's battery could be boosted to 1500mAh without any increase in battery size... And one thing the smartphones REALLY need is longer battery life :)
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted November 10, 2003 Report Posted November 10, 2003 I wonder this myself... I wonder what capacity the battery could be if it was Li-Polymer? It definitely needs it (particularly as the e200 is still 1000mAh Li-Ion!) P
Guest colinp Posted December 23, 2003 Report Posted December 23, 2003 and half the size of the 1000mah original spv batt
Guest squall Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 orange talked about this when the spv was released but nothing more was said about it. maybe orange decided they would be beter tackling the cause rather that coming out with an expensive fix. keep fingers crossed i think.
Guest smeg36 Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 The Samsung i600 has one available I think.
