Guest veroi Posted November 11, 2003 Report Posted November 11, 2003 I have an MPX200 smartphone that seems to be kind of dumb. The MPX 200 has a caller ID LCD on the exterior face of the clamshell. When I have the phone closed and receive a call, I need to open the phone to see who is calling. I have checked with other Smartphone users and they state that the reason the Caller ID LCD does not show the name is due to the fact that I have more than 200 contact in my phone, if I would less contacts, then the exterior Caller ID would show the info on the call. According to these users this is a known limitation of smartphone 2002. I have not seen this before with the SPV or SPVx. Any help.

Any help. I've never heard of this before either, I would have thought it was a bug specific to the phone rather than blaming 2002 OS. What users are you refering to or are they just contacts you know? as I have not seen this posted about before :?
