Voice Mail Icon doesn't go after clearing voicemail

Once I've cleared my voicemail the icon seems to stay, what's that all about. It's only seems to go when i get more messages and then clear them ?!?!?! :?:

I had this problem as well - to solve it ring Customer Services and they will reset it.
