Guest howe Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 is it possible to remove these apps? like maybe msn messenger which i dun use... and some of the ringtones that are really like yucky... somehow my mitac is left with only 1.8mb of space and i've already installed everything to my sd...
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 It's not possible as these files are stored on the ROM and if manually removed would be re-written when you reboot the phone. The space they use is not accessable by you, and so will not make a difference in the ammount of memory you have free.
Guest howe Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 ok... so is there a way to check whether which apps are using the inbuilt space... as in available ones? i didn't install much stuff so it's quite difficult to believe that i have so lil space left...
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 Most space problems are caused by having a large ammount of SMS and emails, sent and recieved. Have a look in the IPSMMAPI folder this contains your sent SMS and emails, this is normally the main cause of memory loss on the phone.
