Guest chucky.egg Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 Emailed Puma the other day about their software, and whether it would work with Smartphones. I want to be able to sync through the cradle with MS Exchange Public Folders. This is their response: Many thanks for your email. For the moment being there is no solution for Smartphones. Pumatech is already working on supporting Smartphones, a software will be released around February 2004. If you could let me know in the meantime which Smartphone you are using, I will then check whether this one will be supported. Kind regards, Ralf Jenner Pumatech European Sales Freephone: 00800 786 28 324 Their email address is [email protected] if anyone else is interested in expressing an interest. They want to know what sort of phones we are using.
Guest lowbug Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 It's that old age issue. I never really came up with a solution myself but it may be worth looking on the net for a program which copies items from the public to the personal folders automatically... Annoying though isn't it
Guest chucky.egg Posted November 12, 2003 Report Posted November 12, 2003 I spent ages looking, but the cheapest thing I found was about £750 I've done some Outlook work in VB so I might knock something up to copy entries across, but I just haven't had time yet.
