Yep,

Nowhere you can only get games from handango at the moment, and you have to pay for them!

actually i have 2 games on my phone i downloaded free somewhere... if only i could remeber where. The games are Invasion and Waterman.

edit: i remember now! it was from http://smartphone.orange.dk/download.html

The page will only work for me on the spv, so maybe its only available in denmark?

Someone try to access http://smartphone.orange.dk/download.html and try to download the games :D

The page is in danish, but the games are english. They are small, but the invasion game is ok :(

Trying on my phone in the UK. No joy loading the site on my phone. Maybe the site is down?

Do any other countries have extra goodies free that Orange UK doesn't?

You can get Interstella Flames thingy for only £1 @ Handago (or whatever its called), just bought it myself.

The address must be blocking IP's outside of Denmark... Have seen that with other sites.

Why not e-mail them to me and I'l put it up for everyone to enjoy!! (They are free aren't they)

I bought interstellar flames cos it was only £1... I must say I'm glad I didn't pay more than that. It shows of some pretty graphics but the game is just pretty dumb.

I also bought Slurp which I've been meaning to do for a while cos it is a very cool puzzle game. Well worth the £5.

None of the other current games on Handango are really my cup of tea... I'm much more into puzzles... maybe it's just that my fingers are too fat to play anything actiony on that keypad...

If someone can post these free games that'd be cool... I'm sure it won't be too dodgy on the legalities if they are free anyway.

I had those 2 games before my phone got replaced by a new one, but now I can't seem to find them on the net, so I'll wait and see if it's on one of my cards and then I'll share it with you guys (if thats legal). They aren't exactly the best games out there, but we all know good old Invasion...

I'll try to find it for ya :D

If the game are 100% free, then there shouldnt be any problems with distributing them.

But i suggest you check any readme's or information that come with the game regarding deistribution and copying etc as we can't have any type of falling out with M$, Orange or software vendors.

muude you should be able to download them via that link.

Im not sure i can get the files on my pc, as they the installer files deletes themselves after the installation. Maybe i can find and transfer them during?

I'll try when i get home wednsday.

Well, watta ya know.... They were right on my HD all along....

If anyone wants the games or feels an urge to put them on a server, just mail me at [email protected] and I'll send them ASAP.....

thanks for the games. They bring a question to mind. Both of these games are small .exe files which do not install on your spv, you just place them on your card/phone just as you would an mp3/wma file, browse to them with the phone and click on them. They then run. So does this mean that they do not have to be signed? ( as they don't install ).

No, put them on your PC, right click on them and go into properties and go to digital signatures (at least that works under windows 2000)

In digital signatures it says that they are signed by orangeworld.

I'd imagine if you had an unsigned exe and managed to just "place on your card/phone" it'd bitch about certificates when you tried to run them.

Just played a bit on waterman, but couldn't work out how to close it down. And it slowed my phone right down. I had to reboot Anybody managed to close it?

Thanks for that, But now I have the same problem someone else mentioned, No way to shut down the games once they have started :x or am I being stupid? Now that will make a change!!!! :D

Back doesn't seem to work so you have to use home, which keeps them in memory and slows the phone down :-(
