Guest schmiew1 Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 Hi All. Just thought I would share this with you all. After droping the phone, the casing was scratched to bits and had a dent in the side on the phone. Went onto Ebay and got a dummy case. £13 inc P&P. Took about 10 minutes in total to take the SPV apart and replace the casing. The dummy had the battery cover glued in place, just a gently tug on the battery casing with a pair of long nose pilliars did the trick. Now the SPV looks nice, new and very shiny.... Cheers Steve
Guest spacecowboy6982 Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 Yeh, i was thinking about this until I remembered my phone is still under warranty. "Awarner" told us that HTC now charge £15 as a premium, on top of what it costs to repair (refurbish in my case). So if i get it professionally "cleaned" and pay say £70 inc premium, then sell the SPV wit hal its bits for say £100, its possible I could get an E-200 on upgrade for a nice price  :!: spacecowboy
