Situation with MSN Messenger - november 2003

Do you know, how it looks with new version of MSN Messenger? I know, we can use Agile for free, but the functionality is not perfect in compare with MSN messenger. I may not use latest version, but in my application I cannot add people in chat window (to join already existing discussion) for example. Cannot rename contacts etc...
