Is there an alternative program launcher screen (when you press the programs softkey) that will list all the programs in a 3x3 grid like Nokia series 60 phones instead of the default list view?

Don't think so, you'd do well to write one too - it'd be a bit tricky to catch the programs softkey pressed event without Windows handling it first. A program which did this without using the programs softkey (it would have to use another key) would certainly be possible tho.

You can map any app to the Programs/Contacts softkeys in the registry RAI controls. Power button and Home key can also be remapped.

urk, why would you want symbian style? its slower

as madu mentioned it is possible, and it just so happens that spacemonkey has such an app, in Plus section ;)

this is similar to the standard launcher however, but seems to be faster, and even features t9 selection of programs

I don't want a Symbian as such. I just thought I may make a pleasant surprise to display the programs as a 3x3 matrix instead of a list, that’s all.
