Guest mattosj Posted November 13, 2003 Report Posted November 13, 2003 All, What is the URL for T-Mobile's T-Zone? I've modified my home page (http://smartphone.modaco.com/viewtopic.php?t=95723&highlight=tmobile) but I'm still looking for that one link. Help!

Guest jerrycutshaw Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 What did you guys have to do to get the MPx200 on the Tmobile internet?
Guest nickcornaglia Posted November 20, 2003 Report Posted November 20, 2003 Under the Articles Section see the GPRS Settings Repository. On page two, I think, you'll see T-Mobile USA Settings.
Guest mattosj Posted November 20, 2003 Report Posted November 20, 2003 Yep! I agree with the above. I just followed the directions I found here, but in case you're feeling lazy, change your data connection so it looks like this. Connects To : The Internet Access Point : wap.voicestream.com Primary DNS : 10.168.200.50 in I.E. x Automatically Detect Settings Connect To : The Internet

Guest mugenakuma Posted November 21, 2003 Report Posted November 21, 2003 Yea I cant get the wap.voicestream.com page to work on my Tmobile mpx200. I am very curious on how to get it to work, despite my trying a multitude of recommended settings.
Guest nickcornaglia Posted November 21, 2003 Report Posted November 21, 2003 I've never been able to get to to work on any Smartphone that I've had. I'm now under Verizon so I can't test anymore. If you'd like...contact MARTIN on this site. He will take the time to work with you in getting it to work...if indeed it can work (which I doubt). But it's worth a dedicated soul taking the time to see. And there is no better nor more knowledgeable nor more dedicated soul to work with on these matters than MARTIN.
Guest mugenakuma Posted November 21, 2003 Report Posted November 21, 2003 Thanks for the tip. So now how do I get in contact with Martin?
Guest nickcornaglia Posted November 21, 2003 Report Posted November 21, 2003 Here is his profile. http://smartphone.modaco.com/profile.php?m...wprofile&u=2987 PM him. (BTW...I'm not pawning you off on him...he is just the resident expert on these things...IMO)
Guest MaximilianWeisheit Posted December 4, 2003 Report Posted December 4, 2003 Did anyone get the T-ZOnes URL to work please post how. thanks
Guest mugenakuma Posted December 4, 2003 Report Posted December 4, 2003 I still havent been able to get it to work, even with the settings mentioned on the is page. I have been able to go to other WAP sites though. Either way it would be nice to get the tzones sites working.
Guest ranphi Posted December 4, 2003 Report Posted December 4, 2003 FWIW, it's been stated on HowardForums that the T-Mobile WAP site will not work with the MPx200 or any Smartphone for that matter. I'm afraid I can't remember the exact reason but it had something to do with how T-Mobile has their WAP site setup so that it can't recognize/deal with Smartphones. Can't swear it's true, personally, but I haven't seen a single MPx200 T-Mobile user say that they've been able to get to the T-Mobile WAP site. (Including myself).
Guest yoos Posted December 5, 2003 Report Posted December 5, 2003 Yea, this is one site I've never been able to hit with my SPV... Even when using the WebWAPSelect program and messing around with my Pocket IE settings....
Guest PDAZealot Posted December 5, 2003 Report Posted December 5, 2003 It can work, you just have to change it from http:// to something else. It's something like wsc:// or something like that. People had this issue on the XDA phones too, and that fixed it.
Guest abatis Posted December 5, 2003 Report Posted December 5, 2003 The internet is working great for me with this set up. This is a little different than what is in the repository. This was posted by xing.. Thanks xing Posted by: xing79 Hi, Just want to let you guys know that the T-Mobile free GPRS works great for me. I am able to do the following: 1. MPx200 WAP/Internet access 2. MPx200 with MSN/AIM/ICQ/Yahoo! messengers via AgileMessenger 3. GPRS Internet access on laptop via MPx200 as an external modem (however, it seems that most of the ports are blocked, I couldn't connect to MSN Messenger on my laptop, only works on MPx200 via AgileMessenger) Under GPRS Settings Name: T-Zones GPRS Connects to: The Internet Access Point: wap.voicestream.com User name: (blank) Password: (blank) Primary DNS: 216.155.165.50 Secondary DNS: 216.155.165.50 IP Address: (blank) Under Data Connections Internet connection: Automatic Work connection: None Available WAP connection: None Available Secure WAP connection: None Available I also deleted all other prior ATTWS settings, and have MPx200's Internet Explorer set to connect to "Internet" I haven't tried setting up the Proxy Connections in the MPx200 yet, maybe that will resolve the limited ports issue. Hope this will help you guys out when setting up MPx200 as well as other SmartPhones! - Xing P.S. I am very happy with this phone, it does a lot more than I expected it to do.
Guest Byron Sanford Posted June 1, 2004 Report Posted June 1, 2004 wsp://wap.myvoicestream.com I tried this using T-Mobile internet2 connection, but kept getting errors indicating the page couldnot be found. Anyone using internet2 conneciton able to get to T-Zones'e wither using this url or another?
Guest brices21 Posted June 2, 2004 Report Posted June 2, 2004 wsp://wap.myvoicestream.com doesn't work... at least not with xing79's settings above... Question, are you using the free wap access or do you have the unlimited interent access(19.95/month)?? As it's wsp (not sure what port) and not http (port 80), I'm assuming I can't make it because only port 80 is allowed for the free wap access on t-mobile.
Guest yoos Posted June 2, 2004 Report Posted June 2, 2004 I have access to internet2 and internet3... none of them work for me and never have worked for me...
