Hi, i have just installed the plugin and it didnt seem to work first of all, most likely down to me. So i uninstalled it and and now everytime i go into my "date and time" settings it says the settings could not be opened.

Could anyone shed any light on this.

Only thing I can suggest is to power off/on a few times to see if that helps... If not, then maybe a hard reset is necessary :lol:

I have been using Richies alarm plugin (last released one) for about a month and a half with no issues... I had to reboot my phone a few times after the install for it to work properly for some reason, but haven't had any problems since... I vaguley remember having the same issue you described, but I can't remember exactly if the power on/off fixed it or I had to do a hard reset...

have trie a few power on/offs to no avail. and i'll think i'll wait until 1.6 update comes out to do a hard reset cos 1.6 wipes everything anyway.

hhhmm strange one, obviously in the past i have installed and uninstalled it god knows how many times and had no problems :? It seems that somehow your registry setting for the alarm has become corrupt :? If powering off and on hasnt solved this, i would imagine a hard reset is the only solution.

I'm sorry you have had this problem and that i am unable to give you a definite solution :lol:

no worries richie, i think i'll wait 2 do a hard reset when 1.6 is released. i did have a similar problem ages ago when u couldnt open the telephony settings. :s thanks anyway

can anyone tell me how to install these skins "rar" is a format I haven't come accross before Ihave installed the plug in Ok but everytime I try to run the rar files it tells me to open the program and run it from there don't understand

It's a different compression format liek WinZip.

Go to WinRAR.com to download it for free.

used the german homepage "landscape" with the alarm plugin,worked a treat, then un-installed the plugin, big mistake !! now the homepage has the bottom row of shortcuts on top of the alarm display, have un-installed and re-installed both items several times to no avail, any ideas please ?.

Just downloaded another homepage from the german site and the dj1 plugin,it's moved the shortcuts down slightly but not into their own space,and I can't select the alarm function.

After a re-boot the shortcuts are back on top of the alarm diplay.

Fixed it, if all else fails read the destructions,

don,t have the alarm homepage running when you unpack the plugin,I deleted the homepages and uninstalled the plugin,and started from scratch,even did a hard reset [painfull and not required], after a reboot,re-downloaded all again with the new single click dji alarm plugin and it works a treat. hope this will help. Thanks Richie.
