SPV E100 1.6 ROM RELEASE DATE IS 19th NOVEMBER!!!!

According to Orange support this morning (Saturday 15th Nov @ 8.20am phone call) the release date for the new rom image update will be 19th of this month.

This was read out to me and is apparently what all the relevant staff have been told to pass out to owners.

Is it just me with the gutted feeling having woken up expecting the update to be avaible today :lol: ?

i called orange support today about the msn update for spv:::

i was told that they still have no date for this and i need to contact microsft for details..i ADVISED the so called support that on ms website it says the update will come from orange not directly from ms..he told me that was wrong...i then ADVISED him that on the orange web site it says

"Orange have taken all steps to minimise any impact to customers and are committed to delivering innovative communications capabilities. WE plan to distribute the software fix for this in mid-November 2003." notice the WE

but the support said get it from micrsoft.... so where now !!!!!! anyone..

it's got to be arriving today.

my reason being this

yesterday my msn was working fine on the orangewap access gprs package with the netherlands developer release.

had been working for four days.

today it refuses to connect, suggesting that orange are releasing the update and making sure msn only works on orange internet gprs :lol:
