O2 GPRS

Having tried many different ways to get the gprs to work on my spv with o2 payg i have finally done it!!!

1/ you need to contact o2 customer support and ask them to activate your pay as you go card for gprs. NO MATTER WHAT YOU TRY UNLESS YOU DO THIS IT WILL NOT WORK!

2/ The settings given to me by tech support are as follows..

go to settings/data connections/menu/edit connections/gprs connections/menu/add

o2gprs

connects to - the internet

access point - wap.02.co.uk

username - 02wap

password - password

primary dns - 0.0.0.0

secondary dns - 0.0.0.0

ip address - 193.113.200.195

worked for me hope it works for you, i will post again if i find any different settings :twisted:

Forgot to add

customer service number is 0906 302 4445 (50p a min) or 4445 from your 02 mobile (50p a min)

takes 24 hrs to activate your sim card

im still having trouble, i have got an payandgo 02 sim

have put those settings in, and still no luck do you have to enter a proxy account.

could you list your exact settings and exactly what data accounts you have as they should be the same for me.

i know my sims enabled as i can browse gprs wap on my old t68i

nope still not working,

says ERROR unable to connect. Verify you have network coverage and try again.

any ideas, i know it works have sent 02 gprs payand go settings to my t68i and works fine but not on my mitac mio 8380,
