Guest glynton Posted November 17, 2003 Report Posted November 17, 2003 Why cant they just develop a phone with a built in TV reciever?
Guest Goutetsuu Posted November 17, 2003 Report Posted November 17, 2003 they have, there are 3 phones availiable with a built in tv reciever, if you look at www.gsmarena.com, there is a Samsung phone availiable for the US, also there is one availiable in China, but i've fogotten the link for that one. And there is an article on Futre Look about a DoCoMo phone that can also be used to watch tv, www.thefuturelook.com, with this site i think you have to be registred to look at anything.
Guest midnight Posted November 17, 2003 Report Posted November 17, 2003 yeh, streaming vid is silly when its easier, and cheaper to download vids and copy across to the sd card
Guest nickcornaglia Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 I dont know. With unlimited data....it's nice to be able to check in with the news or watch a couple of videos. It will be nice when real network and cable stations are available real time for the smartphone.
