Guest spvnewbie Posted November 17, 2003 Report Posted November 17, 2003 As the title suggests. Has anyone found another way of actually switching on the Orange SPV other than that ponsy little button on the left which is now nearly disappearing inside the phone casing.

Guest spvnewbie Posted November 23, 2003 Report Posted November 23, 2003 Hi, Not a trick question but was looking for another way of switching the phone on other than holding the button. Just wondering thats all if anyone had found a hack to avoid using the button on the side as it is getting depressed into the case.
Guest nickcornaglia Posted November 23, 2003 Report Posted November 23, 2003 Someone could potentially create a hack that would turn the phone off (I'm not aware of any). But it would be definitely impossible programmically to implement a software hack that would turn the phone on while it is off. That would have to be a hardware hack. There is however a reset program that will turn the phone off and back on...soft-resetting your phone. I believe you can find it on www.Monolithix.org called quickreset.
