Need Help trying to figure out i600 Decertification

I'm trying to figure out a way to fully decertify the i600.

There is a file named "mxip_operator_100.provxml" that has the exact same values as the file that was edited to unlock the SPVs in the old method.

I was trying to test to see if this would work but I have a problem.

Remember after editing the file, you were able to drop the file into the windows directory before the phone actually read the file.

That's impossible to do with this phone because the PC does not recognize the phone until well after already being on the homescreen.

Is there anyway to access the phone outside of active sync while the phone is booting up?

Or is there a way to copy the whole ROM....change the file and replace the ROM? I'm not really up on this kind of stuff.

EDIT: I'm not saying this will definitely work. I'd just like to give it a try.
