SMS Problems with Orange SPV E100

I have an Orange SPV e100 which I have installed imate on.

I receive nearly all sms messages without any problems but about 5 out of 50 messages never get to me. The person who has sent the messages says they have a delivery report to say it was delivered.

I have tried importing Messages from SIM but this doesn't get the messages.

Cant anyone help me ?

If you are receiving a lot of SMS your may need to talk to your service

provider, as this is normally a network problem and not the phone.

I have a friend who does not use an SPV (his loss :lol:) and he constantly

has the same problem as you.

well, i'm from portugal and i had the same prob, but in time i saw that sometimes i managed to switch the phone to Line 2 (presseing the "#" key for a seconds), and here it only works with line 1, that was the cause for not receiving my sms. strange... :?

I actually have a SPV e100 too, and i have the same problem. Yet i dont miss 5 out of 50 messages, but more like 5 out of 10 messages...

Next to that, it is not the network what is the cause, for i tried both O2 and Orange and i didn't receive in either of them.

Check the SIM for messages the old SPV had a bug where it sometimes sent messges to the SIM instead of the phone.

I've tried import messages from sim like a dozen of times (mostly not on purpose :lol:) but i get nothing...
