alarm query regarding the amount it repeats

I have changed the properties using regedit

contol panel>soundcatagories(there is no alarm in 'sound'>alarm>script etc etc

it works once or twice and them seems to revert to its original setting.

any ideas?

Have you restarted your phone since? It will revert back on restart. (I believe).

You need to look at the Tweaks article in the Articles forum. Part of the tweaks from midnight mention how to get the alarm to continuously repeat (halfway down original post from midnight). Changes to the values in the registry mentioned in this article will not revert to their original values on restart.
