Guest siu99spj Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 Good story but just look in the H&A section to see what they mean. Just so many things different people can do... Its kind of stupid to realise that although I never used all the features of my 3310, I still went to an SPV with more features than you can shake 'Sherwood forest' at!
Guest midnight Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 i actually kind of disagree with them though, you dont 'have' to use all these features, and speaking only from the ms smartphone perspective, its a pretty darn easy phone to use, dialing is simply a case of typing in the name or number from the homescreen (most contacts can be dialed within 3-4 keypresses), and the inbow is usually accessed from the homescreen by clicking on sms/email counter, and thats what 90% of people use the phone for, nothing complex about that  i understand they are talking about email etc, but how easy is it to set up email on a computer? its basically the same on the phone, so whats the big deal. O's new plugin for the e200 seems to have made things easier still. But of course, that was talking about all smartphones, and some may be easier to use than others ;)
Guest sparkisgti Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 ive only had my SPV for about a week and i havent had any problems so far.. its all done to people who are not computer litterate thinking they can just use it like they can their nokia.. the orange manual aint great, but u can without to much trouble get the proper tanager manual.
Guest dshaugney Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 My SPV E100 came without a manual (ebay), no problem in figuring out how everything works.
Guest lowbug Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 Just goes to show there is alot of thick people out there!
Guest roke Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 what a lot of people forget, is the fact that the manual in most cases covers almost all their questions. But no one will ever read it, and that's why they get frustrated. I work in a phone shop, and we have a lot of those cmrs. We even call them RTFM people, as in READ THE F*CKING MANUAL... Ok, the E100 doesn't have a great manual, but it is simple to follow...
