Guest sec2002ph Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 Hi!! I am relatively a new user of a smartphone. I always have trouble booting up or switching on my phone because it takes awhile even when I put it off. Some people from my phone network in my country says I have to free the phone memory which is why I bought a storage card to keep all my files and as for the physical memory of my phone I still have about 6112K. Is that a lot? Will it affect the speed of my phone? Am really confused. Can somebody help me please? :?
Guest Coucou Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 It always takes a while I'm afraid. Not a lot you can do, how long does it take? Mine takes prob about a minute. You've got plenty of memory there.
Guest blewer Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 All windows apps take time to shut down and restart as the registry is re-written each time. Not a lot you can do.
Guest hoopmaster51890 Posted July 19, 2006 Report Posted July 19, 2006 ive had my phone for a while now, almost a year, and it does take a while to boot up and shut down, but as far as i know, all smartphones are like that, and i have about the samy memory capacity as you do. i have deleted everything and started up, but it still took about the same time.
Guest im1 Posted July 22, 2006 Report Posted July 22, 2006 mine takes about 1 minute to boot up and it takes about 20 seconds to turn off
