T-Mobile GPRS in USA with SPV?

I am sure there is an answer out there on this site, and it has probably been asked many times, but I can't seem to find it. I am getting my SPV tomorrow, and I got my T-Mobile SIM card today. My plan includes the unlimited internet for $20. How do I set this up on the smartphone? The only settings I have found always refer to T-Zones, which I don't have.

On the T-Mobile site, all they have is software that you can download, and it will configure the settings for a PC or a PPC, but nothing about smartphones, as they don't actually sell them yet. Would the PPC software work on the SPV, or could I get the settings off my Axim after using the software? Any help you guys can give me would be great. Thanks.

I am using the T-Mobile "Free Unlimited T-Zones" plan which costs $0.00 with my SAP. works great (still no messenger, but Agile works fine.)

I had the Unlimited T-Zones for $9.99, which I switched down to the free one last week, I have noticed no difference in speed, or connectivity.

I don't think there is much need for the $20 internet plan when using the SPV since there is no VPN connectivity from the Smartphone OS.

If you insist on the Unlimited Internet plan, check out the Howard Forums for the T-mobile GPRS settings.

What exactly is the difference between the T-Zones and the Unlimited Internet plans? I though T-Zones could only do WAP pages, whereas the unlimited internet could go anywhere on the web. Is this wrong? I am also going to be using the phone as a modem for my PPC and my Laptop.

The $19.95 "Unlimited Internet Plans" allow unlimited usage and full-access (no ports are blocked) to the Internet.

The T-zones plans allow unlimited usage, but not full-access to the Internet. They only allow access to the ports for sending email, browsing the web (only regular websites, not secured ones), and POP3/IMAP access. All other ports (like secured web sites, VPN, MSN messenger, etc) are blocked.

The "Free Wap Browsing" feature (which can be added to any plan) is the same as the T-Zones plan above. To me, it seems like a big loophole, but it currently works. This is what I use. If they take it away, I'll go to the $4.99 T-Zones plan.
