Guest smittyofdhs Posted November 20, 2003 Report Posted November 20, 2003 why does Microsoft do this? If you look thru the ROM files you'll find that there are many PPC files in the ROM. Although it means nothing to the end user, why do they do this? Why don't they clean up after themselves? There is no touchscreen and no stylus for the smartphone...duh.touchhead.gifstylushead.gifstylus3.gifstylus2.gifstylus1.gif

Guest smittyofdhs Posted November 20, 2003 Report Posted November 20, 2003 it's almost as if the ported the smartphone OS from the PPC OS, which I'm sure some of it could. But don't they have people reviewing this stuff before it goes out the door? And like Midnight said, it's only a small amount of KB that they use so maybe that's the reason.....
