can you unlock an SPV to work on rogers w/out a PC? via WAP?

i have a mac, living in canada (rogers telecom sim card ready to go in) but i have it on orange UK at the moment. can it be unlocked, maybe via wap?

To SIM unlock your phone you either need the unlock code from Orange

or you need to have bootloader V0.98 or below and use the SIM Unlock app

from www.monolithix.org to get you the unlock code.
