Just bought E200 and motorols HS810 from orangatan shop and its great although I was hoping that you could access more with the headsets button than appears to work.

What are headset and handfree profiles ( found headset but can only answer and hang up)

Does e200 support voice dialing - if so how?

Does bluetooth switch off when I am not in headset or whatever profile?

Any tips on how to use would help.

Has the Hs810 got a replaceable battery? I think if you turn off BT on the phnone when your not using it it will save your battery.

Paul I think is working on a program that will turn on and off the BT automatically when calls come in etc. Paul can you confirm this?

I'm going to be getting an Hs810 I thikn so long as its got a replaceable battery, if not its going to be the Plantraonics M3000.

No its recharable built in. You just plug this wire into the back of it and it starts charging.

My first impressions are that the headset is really good but remember to keep the microphone open when you want to recieve a call. If the call has already started then I can not find a way to transfer it to the headset.

Bluetooth is not enabled by profile but if its on and the headset is in range and active then it automatically sends it there.

The button doesnt really do anything other than answer call and ahngup. Cant yet make it redial of mute etc.

Feel a bit like an aeroplane in the car at night with all these flashing lights though. SPV goes yellow then blue and the headset falshes blue. I would not recommend this is you suffer from any particular illness resulting from strobe lighting.

Ok, I'm quite happy with fASHY LIGHT (oops!). I wonder if you can send it back to Moto to get them to change the batt, or DIY?

Can you get in to DIY?

bouger - yeah same probs but this might help a little.

If you close the mic bit the headset is off. Although the manual says you can open the mic after a call comes in this does not work. To have it working effectivelty have bluetooth switched to on all the time and the headsets mic boom thing open. You will then be able to use it with not hassle.

Recieving calls just stick the headset on wait to hear the ring tone in the ear piece and press the hedsets button.

To make calls dial from phone press green and the headset sign should appear and you should hear the ringing in it.

Key seems to be not to shut the boom thing. Not sure if this is bad coding on part of microsoft (most likely) or the headset !

Please let me know your experiences

Having similar problems with the Bluetooth Headset. Works fine on first call - but subsequent calls do not connect to the headset no matter whether boom open or I press accept button on headset. Only way I can get it to work is to close the boom and then on opening again it seems to have 're-paired' itself. Which is a pain and defeat the object of being hands free in a car! Any other tips or work arounds? Thanks.

sussed it guys well on mine anyway ..... my phone keeps changing itself back to discoverable on its own..... therefore meaning its taking like 10 secs to divert to headset most times i have missed the call.

after three to four attempts keep changing it back its stopped doing it now and when set to on i(and now staying on) t works fantastic going straight to headset with no delay

all i can say is smartphones need a little disapline training to know whos boss !!

I really can't get the HS810 to work well at all with my phone, even if I keep the boom open.... My friend paired it with his Nokia and is seemed to work great   He could close the boom, then open it when a call came it... That's pretty disappointing... I hope Motorola get it working good with their newer smartphones that will be coming out (I'm sure they will)...
