Guest gladel Posted November 21, 2003 Report Posted November 21, 2003 What ebook format does the Mio 8380 PhoneReader able to read?
Guest Brody Posted November 22, 2003 Report Posted November 22, 2003 i believe it reads Palm e-books (.PDB), not sure about other formats.
Guest gladel Posted November 24, 2003 Report Posted November 24, 2003 i believe it reads Palm e-books (.PDB), not sure about other formats. Um, it doesn't recognise the format. I've also tried .pdf and .prc format and still no go. I've finally tried .txt and it just displays ascii block characters. Does anybody know what format this reader reads??
Guest Brody Posted November 25, 2003 Report Posted November 25, 2003 I have the Harry Potter books working in .pdb format, they are in my My Documents folder on my phone, i can't get it to find them on my storage card though.
Guest gladel Posted November 25, 2003 Report Posted November 25, 2003 Great! Do you have a proper documentation on how to use PhoneReader? After installing the .cab file, what did you do?
Guest Brody Posted November 25, 2003 Report Posted November 25, 2003 I have no documentation i'm afraid, its a Mitac product FYI. After installing the cab i ran it from my programs menu and copied some books across from my PC to my phone, then i began to read! ;)
Guest gladel Posted November 25, 2003 Report Posted November 25, 2003 I'll try to make it "read" my ebooks again. Thanks!
