hiya i just recently had to a hard reset on my spv. Prior to the hard reset the phone was decerted and running most programs. The problem i'm encountering now is when i go to the orange site i can neither unlock or lock the mobile. Anyone got any idea. I've already tried the file copying and pasteing method and that doesn't work

thanks

the problem i'm encountering is that the phone isn't unlocked or decerted, but yet the orange site thinks it is(i think). Its the only reason i can come up with.

I'll put it to you again, b4 hard reset the phone was dercert and running anything you put on it. Now hard reset done and can't run certain programs. So went to orange site to unlock and to no avail after several attempts and waiting days. So decided to lock it thru orange site and guess what nothing!!

can anyone help. got loads of games and applications and can't run em

It can take a while to decert, but it does not always work first time the most I have had to leave it is over night.

Are you getting the screen on the web site stating that you should shortly

receive the unlock message on your phone?

One of the main problems people have is that they enter their phone

number wrong ie, forget to use the international dialing code in.

is your phone GPRS enabled? if not and you are trying to decert using Passthrough you will need to keep the connection on your PC going until you get the decert message.

Finally where in the world are you? if you are not in the UK then you should be using the passthrough option to decert instead.

hi thanks for the speedy response, i'm based in the uk and was wondering that if i enter the phone no with +44 before my mobile number would that be the correct way?
