Guest smartiemcr Posted November 22, 2003 Report Posted November 22, 2003 Hello all, I recently purchased an SPV E200 and a Jabra BT200 headset, but despite getting the two to "pair up" successfully I don't know what I need to do to ensure that whenever I make or receive a call I can get it through the headset. The only way I have been able to do this so far is to have the Headset in "Pairing" mode (blue light on constantly) and then when I make a call or receive a call a message appears on my SPV screen telling me that the Jabra would like to bond with my phone... I then have to enter the pin code (0000) but if the call is connected in the meantime this screen then disappears and I am stuck without being able to use the headset! AGHHHHH! I have tried to put my phone in headset mode whilst the headset is switched on but it refuses to do this and stays in Normal mode, so it seems to have no way of recognizing that I want the Headset to be activated. It's downright weird and this is really stressing me out! I tried calling Orange but he told me it was probably an issue of compatibility -however, I have heard several people saying that the Jabra BT200 is fine on their phones -surely they can not all be experiencing the same problem? I would be extremely grateful of any advice in resolving this issue. Otherwise, I am having great fun with the SPV E200 -it offers (almost)everything one could ever need in a mobile phone! Best regards, Dave.
