Guest Pagemakers Posted November 22, 2003 Report Posted November 22, 2003 Mr O I am absolutely astonished that the E200 still does not remember T9 saved text. In the 3 days I have owned my phone, the saved words have been lost twice. Last night, just prior to going to sleep the words were there - I sent an email. The phone remained on, charging throughout the night and when I woke up I tried to send a text message and the saved words had gone! All I did was go to sleep, I wasn’t even using the phone. Please can you confirm to me that there will be a fix for this soon, not in 6 months or 9 months time. I am very, very disappointed to say the least that this feature does not work on the phone. I need it desperately as much of my email sending includes non-standard words which is related to my employment. I would very much appreciate your comments.
Guest MECX Posted November 22, 2003 Report Posted November 22, 2003 dont actually believe they didnt fix this bug    im sure someone said it was fixed in the beta of the 1.6 tanager update? maybe one of the mods could correct me tho
Guest midnight Posted November 22, 2003 Report Posted November 22, 2003 and this has got what to do with Mr O? ;) didnt know he made the OS  anyway, seriously, if this still hasnt been fixed in 2k3 i will be extremely disappointed, something as simple as that shouldnt have occurred in the first version of the os, never mind 2k3. Oh, and I never really had this problem, i save words on my phone, it remembers, even after restart, always has.

Not personally No, However I'm off to HTC in Taiwan on monday morning to review the launch of e200 and the status of the 1.6 build.
Guest Pagemakers Posted November 22, 2003 Report Posted November 22, 2003 Cheers for your reply Mr O. Please can you feed this problem back to whoever can sort it. Since my original post my words have been lost again. Mignight, you must be the only person I have heard of whos phone does not loose the saved words. Maybe you have a special phone! Regarding your comments about Mr O not making the OS, but surely he has some sort of input in feeding these bugs back to his company's partner in the development of this phone?
Guest midnight Posted November 22, 2003 Report Posted November 22, 2003 hehe, yes, i was just having a larf, the title of this thread amused me
