No SMS Menu after hard reset :(

OK, i was having a few problems deleting some old applications from my SPV so I decided to do a hard reset then decert my phone again however i've noticed that since doing the hard reset, i have no "new" menu available on the inbox screen.

I can open the inbox ready to create a new message and the "new" and "menu" buttons are displayed at the bottom however when I press "new" the little menu that usually pops up doesn't appear and when I press "menu" and select "new message", nothing happens.

If anyone can, please help. I'm totally stuck. Everything else seems to be working fine (so far).

If any of this isn't clear enough, just let me know and i'll try and explain it further for ya.

Anyone else have this issue, were you trying to decert using the copying tool? if so another hard reset and de-certifying using the OTA method should sort you out.
