Forum help?

Im kinda new at checking out forums and so...i've created my own homescreen and would like to put it up in the forum. I see theres a possibility to have a picture preview or screenshot on the forum...but i cant figure out how to use it?! I know i can press the "IMG" button when writing a post but can i load the picture straight from my harddrive or do i have to get som sort of webspace and link it :?:

Click on add attachment in options on the bottom of the page when

composing a post.
