Guest martin Posted November 22, 2003 Report Posted November 22, 2003 As title says, where are the settings for the GRPS and MMS connections stored? Is it in the registry or is it as a file somewhere deep inside windows? The info im seeking is for SP2002 ... Crispy I wondered the same thing not long ago and found the settings in the registry  Goto HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/ConnMgr In providers you will find the GPRS connections where each has a value DestID containing a very long code. If you then goto Destinations you can find the SPV's Data connections and their associated active Dest ID. Is this what you were looking for ?
Guest Crispy Posted November 22, 2003 Report Posted November 22, 2003 Is this what you were looking for ? Well, no ... I want the place that stores the Acces point, User name, password, DNS and IP...
Guest martin Posted November 22, 2003 Report Posted November 22, 2003 I think that's in HKEY_C_U/Comm/Rasbook Username and Domain are readable but everything else is coded. I suspect it's coded for security reasons as this data will be sent over the network to the SGSN when requesting a GPRS service.
Guest Crispy Posted November 22, 2003 Report Posted November 22, 2003 I think that's in HKEY_C_U/Comm/Rasbook Ya, I concluded that too ... thx martin
