You could try getting a "Serial Sync Cable" from here, and a "Serial Interface with power input" from here. That should work, and the serial ends connect directly to each other, because the iPaq one is the other way round, as shown here.

Do not try this unless you want to screw your phone up Ipaq have a different

pinouts, the XDA will be the same but the connector on the phone is reversed.

Are you sure, because surely they end up the same when they reach the RS-232 serial connector?

You would be braver than me if you tried.

At the rs plug it should be the same but that is not a definite.

They ain't carrying power, the serial cables, so I can't see either getting very fried. The iPaq end does say "Connects to other serial devices such as external modem, GPS etc.". I don't want anyone to kill their phone, but it might at least be worth giving PC-Mobile a ring.

That's a different thing. Here we're talking about connecting two different data cables, one for the iPaq, and one for the SPV together, effectively using a null modem adaptor. I would still advise contacting PC Mobile and seeing what they say.

Yeah ive re-read it now , sorry :), i'd just got back from a weekend away and just saw the connectors in the posts :(

Heads up for any1 trying a charger/sync cable anyway ;), dont use the spv cable on the ipaq, even tho they have the same connector and are the same voltage :(
