Guest alang Posted November 24, 2003 Report Posted November 24, 2003 There is a lot of talk on the site about the need to unlock your phone before it will run programs like Doom. :? I installed Doom on my E200 and when I try to run it I get the following: Confirm This program comes from an unknown source that may not be trustworthy do you want to start this program? YES NO Click on Yes and it runs, sit there looking confused and apart from your coffee going cold you get: ERROR Access Denied. The program cannot start because it is not digitally signed with a trusted certificate OK Am I being more dense than usual, or is this something new?
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted November 24, 2003 Report Posted November 24, 2003 Installed Doom? or do you mean you placed the files on the storage card? If it's the first then you have the very dodgy cab which should not used as it wil only install the the phone and not the storage card. Try downloading it from MBoden's site (the author) http://www.bodenhoff.com/doom.html and follow the instructions. As for unlocking apparently some things still need you to decert your phone and the Orange developers site is ment to work on the E200 (from what I understand) Just click on OTA for more info and a link to the site.
