Guest steeevc Posted November 24, 2003 Report Posted November 24, 2003 Hi, Anybody else had any problems running their old Smartphone 2002 games on Windows Mobile 2003? I've found that on Bust'em the music and sound doesn't work, it just bellows out noise. On Toki Tori there are frequent gaps/hiccups in the sound as you play. On Rick Dangerous you can't seem to crawl and move forward at the same time. Anybody else had similar probs and know any fixes?
Guest Richie M Posted November 24, 2003 Report Posted November 24, 2003 Aim have written a new version of Toki Tori for 2k3, which is/will be available as an update. And i'd imagine the same for Bust'em (unless Bust'em 2 is their 2k3 version). As for Xrick as its a freeware port i wouldn't expect a re-release.
Guest Gorskar Posted November 24, 2003 Report Posted November 24, 2003 It looks like the problem with xrick dangerous is down to the e200 direction pad (see the news item here..
Guest jayjaybee Posted November 25, 2003 Report Posted November 25, 2003 Wow, what an incredible own goal by orange! I was about ready to dump my e100 in favour of an e200, when i heard about its joystick limitations. What were they thinking? Ok so the e200 excels at everything else, but hey, when i want to impress people with my phone i tend to show them games, and this really will limit things now. D'oh
