Guest Pagemakers Posted November 24, 2003 Report Posted November 24, 2003 The E200 bugs just keep coming! Here is a calendar bug that was NOT on the E100. 1 - Using your phone go to a blank day in your calendar. 2 - Create an appointment called "Test A". Timed from 1200 to 1300 3 - Create a second appointment called "Test B". Timed from 1600 to 1900 4 - Create an all day event called "Test C" Presto - Noticed how the appointments clash for no apparent reason. (See 1st image). Now on your PC's Outlook delete Test C and create it again. Noticed the clash has gone. (See 2nd image). There must be a bug in the way the phone's calendar creates all day events. Please MS/Orange fix it!Clear.jpgClash.jpg
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted November 24, 2003 Report Posted November 24, 2003 Sorry Pagemakers, I think this one is user failure ;-) When you click 'All Day Event' in Outlook on your PC, it automatically sets 'Status' as 'Free'. This doesn't happen on Smartphone, time is still marked as 'Busy', so to solve this, just carry on scrolling down past the 'All Day Event' checkbox, and change status from 'Busy' to 'Free'. Hey presto, sorted  P
Guest Pagemakers Posted November 24, 2003 Report Posted November 24, 2003 Oh.....I never did that in all the time I owned an E100 and never got a clash! Thanks anyway Paul
