Main Screen customisation on E200

Hello,

Just got an E200, not had an SPV before but I know a bit about them....

Don't know much on the customisation side.....

One the main screen can you change the colour of the "Start" and "Contacts" button? Ideally I'd want to put the proper windows start button (grey one, not the XP one) on but i ain't sure if this is possible.

Also can you change the colour of the top bar?

Best way to find out about homescreen customisation is to read the MS whitepaper http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default....2homescreen.asp

Although this is for 2k2 AFAIK it hasnt changed (aprt from the new plug-in) in 2k3

With the default "theme" that is loaded on the E200 when you highlight certain objects on the homescreen you get a grey back ground. Which is horrible in my opinion. Is there a way to make this grey background transpaprent?

I think the only way to make it transparent is for someone to design a whole new home screen with it pre-programed in!

paul did a transparent version with the colours slightly altered, I can't quite remember the thread

u can change it

u hav to add a bmp for when its selected then a transparent tag with that colour then its transparent

if u want me to change it so its transparent please pm me or somthing

anychance of digging this up for us, Im sure loads would like the option now we have the e200 in our hands.
