Guest rhenzhen Posted November 24, 2003 Report Posted November 24, 2003 My sister will send me a SPV/SAP Phone (unlocked)... I was thinking if I would able to use the phone in North America (T-Mobile provider)? I know it's a triband phone but I heard that there's a problem using here in North America... Is this true? Please confirm it for me... Thanks very much!
Guest kyrkesmith Posted November 24, 2003 Report Posted November 24, 2003 My dad borrowed my SPV E100 which worked fine in New York. You have to manually switch to PCS Band in Telephony settings, but once you've done that, it worked fine. He wasn't using a US SIM though, still the UK Orange one.

Guest original_enigma Posted November 25, 2003 Report Posted November 25, 2003 Yes - provided handset is not Sim Locked then yes as its a tri-band handset.
