Guest ManofTrueGod Posted November 25, 2003 Report Posted November 25, 2003 What can I do with the camera? I need help to understand the following 1) contrast control- is there such a feature? I am having a hard time taking pics with daylight with the sun out. 2) groups- is there automatic focus outside of say 3m? When I start taking picture of groups, even if I keep the camera still for couple of seconds, they are still blurred in daylight, but not inside a building (contrast control again?) 3) what difference will it make for 50Hz or 60 Hz? 4) what difference will it make for auto brightness or manual? Please advise.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted November 25, 2003 Report Posted November 25, 2003 What phone and OS update do you have? The standard SPV and E100 have a very basic photo manager but I-Mate and Qtek etc and the E200 haev IA Album.
Guest ManofTrueGod Posted November 25, 2003 Report Posted November 25, 2003 I am a SMART Smartphone user using the latest firmware with IA Camera and IA Album installed.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted November 26, 2003 Report Posted November 26, 2003 1, Nope no contrast control but see my answer for question 4. 2, With the appature of the lens there is only a general focus. 3, This is to do with different mains frequency and helps to stop flicker ie lighting in the UK uses 50Hz where as in the US they have 60Hz 4) Well Auto adjusts the brightness levels automatically and hense your initial probem in question 1
Guest Rob.P Posted November 26, 2003 Report Posted November 26, 2003 Also it helps if you try and have the strongest light source behind you when taking the pic rather than anywhere in front of you.
