Guest Bunchie Posted November 25, 2003 Report Posted November 25, 2003 Sometimes when I remove my MPX200 from the cradle in order to finish off installing software or something and put it back in, the phone is registered by Activesync fine, but when i select "Explore" in order to transfer some files over nothing shows up. There is no "My Mobile Device" icon and so i cannot browse it at all. This happens when i remove the phone again and put it back constantly and it seems the only thing that will fix it is a reboot. Does anyone know if this is a known problem and is there any way around it?
Guest Tim Posted November 25, 2003 Report Posted November 25, 2003 I had this problem after I upgraded ActiveSync to 3.7.1, when I reinstalled 3.7 it was fine again.
Guest Bunchie Posted November 25, 2003 Report Posted November 25, 2003 Thats pretty wierd because i've just actually installed 3.71 so it seems that this could be causing the problem. I'll go back to 3.7 then and see if that makes the difference!
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted November 26, 2003 Report Posted November 26, 2003 I've found it happen on all versions of Activsync, normal cure that works for me is to plug the crade into another USB port.
