Palm to Smartphone Migration - Resync Freeware

Many like me are moving to Smartphone from Palm. There is no really easy way to export and import other than through csv etc files and problematic field mapping. After loads of hassle which involved a hard reset of the Palm I am happy to say that I have managed to complete the switch from Palm & NT4 PC to E200 & XP Pro. This was acheived only because of some software located at http://www.stratabase.com/resync/index.php This enables file transfer without any field mapping (!) between any two of - Palm Handheld, Palm Desktop, Outlook, Windows Address Book. Interestingly you do not even need to install Palm Desktop to run. Several hundred contacts moved over beautifully and quickly. Unfortunatley the calendar transfer stopped part way through and I await a response from author. From looking at the forum, the support seems pretty good, so I am keeping my fingers crossed this can be resolved and will keep you posted.

Time to start putting my E200/Motorola BT Headset to work, right after installing that Kylie skin!
