Hi,

I don't think MS did any new plugins for 2003 as those listed in the SDK are the same as those for 2002.

Orange have done loads of new plugins (apart from the new improved shortcut which not only "proxies" plugins but now sends virtual key presses too).

I am waiting for a "sticky" approval from Paul (Encece discussed it with him I think) on an Operator specific plugin area (operator and OS) as I think it would be hugely beneficial to both individuals and people who like to make skins and themes.

You can configure the shortcut to do other things than those stated so far. Take make an appointment as an example of a shortcut the homescreen people at orange (who seem to be ok) added new functionality to there shortcut plugin

code snippit (not the full code merely for illustration)

can be configured to run other link files, and send the key presses to that window (so its like a key click recorder for the homescreen, it also will run shellex commands with arguments and send key presses. I think the error title and error message are what shows if somethign else is using that app or its is unavailable which is nice too, we like custom error messages.

It does lots more than this to its seems and as midnight has already mentioned there is a "proxy" or parent -> child relationship.

I think people are still trying to figure out the how it does "it" and what else can it be configured to do I am guessing that icon="-2" is a way of now saying "I don't want an icon" not even the "?". I think you can load icons from other lnk files too if you put that as the icon="path to my lnk file" but I haven't tested it yet.

I do love the send keys though configurable too its well its made my day me being uber lazy, why click keys when your phone can do it for you 8)

keys="!Calendar;~150;-TSOFT2;~150;-T1"

I think it means wait for the calendar window to load, wait 150 ticks, send right soft key wait another 150 ticks hit the "1" key.

You can configure it for instance to do the three "sign in" clicks on MSN how lush (assuming -TSOFT1 is left soft key) .................
