E100 Memory full

Guys, This is my first post here, i have read the other messages so will try posting as you guys do, apologies if i mess up.

Right i have a E100 SPV, it keeps coming up with the mem full message (0.3mb full), i dont have any ringtones, videos etc saved. BUT what i do have is 5000 odd text messages, i cant delete them i have installed SMStools but it just does not work, now i think to fix this i have to do a hard reset (thus deleting all my texts!?!?) i have used orange update to backup all my contacts, thats all i need to save on my phone, Is a hard reset going to fix my problem or is their an easier cure. I need to do this ASAP as i cannot do anything with my phone at the moment and as i use it for work reasons its quite urgent.

yes a hard reset will delete all the junk sms etc etc

but sms tools should do that anyways..it always works ok for me..what specific error ar eyou getting when you use sms tools or does it just not load at all? :shock:

5000 messages :shock: will certainly fill up the phone.

There are two files you need to delete on the phone rather than doing a

Hard Reset, cemail.vol (found in IPSM) this contains all your received SMS and emails etc. The other thing to delete is the contents of the MAPI folder

(also in the IPSM folder) this is where your sent SMS and Emails are kept.
