help required in creating a new-item menu and other mods

Hi guys

I’ve had an E100 for a short amount of time now, but I’ve been reading threads on the site for some time now, anyways their are a few things I would like to modify on my phone apart from upgrading the OS, which I will not bother to discuss for obvious reasons. If there are any registry edits that anyone may know of that can do any of the following, could you please help, thank you

Firstly I’ve seen a thread about changing the contacts function key to SMS, well I’m not to interested in that as my home screen allows me to directly access mail, calendar and profiles settings, however my brother owns an XDA and he has a menu called new, allowing him to create new items directly from the home screen.

I am interested in creating something like this to replace the contacts function key, possibly a application of some sort allowing me to choose from a list for creating a new item, i.e. a new massage, contact, calendar note and task. However I have no idea where to start, or what to do.

Secondly when I press the green call key I get a list of dialled call, I am sure this is not a cut down version of the call history application and is in fact the same smart dial application that scans my dialled calls and contacts.

I would like it to also scan my incoming calls and misted calls, and if possible I would like my call history filter to manipulate the scanned and displayed call. In fact, I would like smart dial to scan my start menu as well as all call history, and contacts. Like the latest surreal start menu.

If nether of the above is possible I would like to know if it is possible to sign the green call key to the call history application, and if doing so affects the capability to call or answer calls etc.

Finally I am dyslexic and am constantly dialling in numbers in the wrong order or forgetting to insert a digit her or their, however when I notice my mistake I would like to move the cursor left or right moving throw the numbers, as you can in any text mode. I am under the impression that this maybe a limitation of the smart dial application, if it is, then that that, but if not then can someone assist.

I know that not everything I would like is possible but I ask in the hope that something's may be
