Guest moo_ski_doo Posted November 26, 2003 Report Posted November 26, 2003 I've broken the cover on the screen on my E100 (the transparent acrylic bit which sits on top of the screen, not the screen itself.) I've seen a few posts about broken screens, but nothing about screen covers. Anyone got any idea where I could get a piece of plastic which I could cut to size and fit to my phone? It's a bit of a tall order I know (the kind of plastic is quite specific - well under a mil thick and not too brittle!) but I object to paying £25 excess on my insurance for a fix worth about 25p! Also, I think it'd be quite cool to have a flat screen instead of a curved one! Any ideas welcome!
Guest Brody Posted November 26, 2003 Report Posted November 26, 2003 I'd say your best bet is to hunt down a dummy phone and replace the cover, try the for sale section of the forum or e-Bay.
Guest kyrkesmith Posted November 26, 2003 Report Posted November 26, 2003 Yuh, that's the best thing to do. Will almost certainly cost you more than 25p though, and you should try to be sure that the dummy phone is in excellent condition. Could try asking for one in an O shop - they should be replacing all their E100s with E200s now, so might have a few ready to throw out.
